Three of the ten Adirondack Calendar Paintings , which are earthscapes painted in acrylic and mica on canvas by internationally recognized artist Jan-Marie Spanard, will be included in an art salon September 24-26, 2010, as part of the Conference:  "Alchemy Throughout the Ages: Enlightenment Through Experience"  in Santa Fe, New Mexico. 

The salon, a digital "Esoteric Mysteries Salon" filled with artist's work from around the world, focuses on the concept of "Enlightenment Through Experience".

People of like consciousness, members and associates from across the U.S. and internationally will gather for three full days of lectures, presentations, workshops and events focused on alchemy. The conference and salon are open to the public.

First solo exhibition of the entire group of 10 Adirondack Calendar series paintings, to be held in the Main Gallery at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts in Lake Placid, Adirondack Mountains of New York. Reception tentatively scheduled for Saturday, January 15, 2011. www.lakeplacidarts.org

September 17 -  November 5, 2010,  Soo Rye Art Gallery, Rye, New Hampshire.

Two of the ten Adirondack Calendar Series Paintings by artist Jan-Marie Spanard are included in the juried exhibition, "A Personal Landscape," at the Soo Rye Art Gallery in Rye, New Hampshire. The paintings are: SoftWind and WaterSky. A Personal Landscape has been curated by Gary Samson, current chair of photography at the New Hamsphire Institute of Art and runs from September 17 through November 5, 2010. The opening reception will be held on September 25th, from 5 - 7:00 PM. www.soorye.com

 

August 15 - September 14, 2009,  Caladan Gallery, Cambridge, MA.

Three of the ten Adirondack Calendar Series Paintings by artist Jan-Marie Spanard are included in the juried, international exhibition, "NATURE," at the Caladan Gallery in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The paintings are: SoftWind, Solstice, and CedarMoss. NATURE is an on-line internet exhibition that will be posted from August 15 - September 14, 2009. September 11 - October 31, 2009, Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts, Blue Mountain Lake, New York.

The latest Spanard painting, The Cake is a Lie, first in a new series of paintings titled Adirondack Erratics, and three of the ten Adirondack Calendars acrylic and mica on canvas paintings by artist Jan-Marie Spanard will be exhibited at the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts in Blue Mountain Lake, New York, in the exhibition, "Four Natural States." www.adirondackarts.org
